I. Information We Collect

To maintain operational security and platform integrity, the Independent ACTUC Node collects and processes the following telemetry and data streams:

  • Identity Data: Name and email address provided explicitly during Sentinel registration.
  • Mission Data: Links, descriptions, evidence logs, and “Urgency” classifications submitted directly to the global database.
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, and device signatures. This data is used strictly for defensive countermeasures against bot attacks, automated scrapers, and disinformation “swarms”.

II. How We Use Your Data

Data processing is executed strictly under the legal basis of Legitimate Interest to advance global social literacy and defense of truth:

  • To dynamic-render and maintain your personalized “Guardian Zone” dashboard.
  • To verify, cross-reference, and audit the credibility of intelligence submissions.
  • To protect the decentralized network infrastructure from malicious state or private actors.

III. Data Retention & Tactical Security

We deploy industry-standard cryptographic protocols (SSL/TLS) to encrypt all inbound and outbound tactical data. ACTUC operates on an anti-commercial model: we do not, under any circumstances, sell, rent, or trade your data to third-party advertisers or corporate entities. Information is retained strictly for the duration necessary to fulfill our core mission of global social literacy and historical archive preservation.

IV. Your Rights (GDPR & PIPEDA Compliance)

In alignment with democratic legal frameworks, every registered Sentinel retains full sovereignty over their data node, including the rights to:

  • Access: Request a complete cryptographic copy of your Sentinel ledger record.
  • Correction: Instantly update or rectify inaccurate intelligence or profile data.
  • Erasure: Execute the “Right to be Forgotten” to permanently deactivate and wipe your account from the operational database.

V. Cookies & Local Storage (PWA Integration)

ACTUC utilizes essential cookies and browser Local Storage. These are technical prerequisites required to keep you securely authenticated into the Guardian Zone dashboard and to enable core Progressive Web App (PWA) offline capabilities. We do not employ tracking cookies, pixels, or behavioral advertising scripts.
